Advanced Collision Reconstruction with CDR Applications
with Hunter Martin
Free
This comprehensive course is designed to provide students with an in-depthunderstanding of advanced crash reconstruction methodologies, equipping them with thenecessary skills to analyze and interpret critical collision data. Participants will gain proficiency inutilizing Event Data Recorder (EDR) data, applying momentum principles, and employing trigonometric calculations to accurately determine key crash dynamics.
The curriculum will coveressential topics such as calculating vehicle speed at impact, assessing the principal direction offorce, determining total delta-v, and performing other advanced analytical computations integral to collision investigation. Additionally, students will be introduced to an innovative, streamlined formula that can be universally applied to all momentum-based calculations, enhancing both theaccuracy and efficiency of their forensic assessments.
