The target audience for this course includes experienced senior emergency management personnel who may perform in a management capacity for major or complex incidents. This group includes individuals who may serve as the Incident Commander, as a member of a Unified Command, or as members of the Command or General Staff, or Multiagency Coordination Group/Emergency Operations Center (EOC) management for incidents that may use an Area Command.
Special Instructions:
Prerequisites are:
IS-100.c An Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100
IS-200.c Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response, ICS 200
IS-700.b An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
IS-800: National Response Framework (NRF).
You will HAVE to provide proof that the above classes have been completed prior to attending this course.
The above courses SHOULD have been taught in your cadet class (except for IS-800). IF you took the above courses online in your cadet class and cannot find a copy of your certificates then you can go to

If you took these classes in person in your cadet class then you will HAVE to complete these courses online through the FEMA website. The above classes will take 8-11 hours to complete. The online courses can be completed over a period of time and do not have to be completed in one sitting.
