Kentucky State Police Academy

This course will encompass classroom as well as outside driving courses. Officers/troopers will be trained and graded in topic presentations, set up of cone courses, driving of cone courses, taught how to grade other students, and then they will have to train and demonstrate to other students about how to properly drive certain courses. By the end of the week, each officer/trooper will know how each course is set up, will be able to set up each course, will be able to drive each course within the time allotted, and will know how to properly grade other students. The Officer/Trooper also will know how to correct a student’s errors they are exhibiting in Driving different courses.
