Kentucky State Police Academy

This course is specifically designed for Telecommunicators. It aims to provide them with a thorough understanding of the duties and responsibilities involved in handling human trafficking calls, as well as instructing them on how to document such calls. The course will also cover the various types of human trafficking and how to recognize the signs of trafficking during a phone interview with a caller. By the end of the course, students will be able to comprehend better and identify human trafficking cases and will know who to contact. The course will be held in Frankfort.

The Instructor: Ricky Lynn is a Detective with the Frankfort Police Department's SVU section. Detective Lynn was previously a Detective with the Lexington Metro Police Department for many years. He is currently the lead investigator on many human trafficking cases.
