Kentucky State Police Academy

This course will provide the learner with the skills and steps to conduct the Cognitive Interview Technique developed by Dr. Edward Gesielman, PhD and Dr. Ronald P. Fischer, Ph.D. This method has been proven to elicit more information and more accurate information from witnesses and victims of crimes. This translates into stronger cases when presented in a court of law. Information will be presented in a building block format, allowing the learner to receive the information from the lecture and immediately put it to use in practice sessions.
